The "Beach Peace" poster print from Deep Blue is inspired by John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Bed in For Peace. The "Bed-In for Peace" was a non-violent protest by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969. They spent their honeymoon in bed, inviting the press to promote peace during the Vietnam War. "Bed Peace" and "Hair Peace" were terms coined by John Lennon and Yoko Ono during their famous "Bed-In for Peace" protest in 1969. The concept was simple yet powerful: they stayed in bed for peace, refusing to get up as a form of non-violent protest against war and promoting peace. "Bed Peace" represented their commitment to peaceful activism, while "Hair Peace" referred to their decision to grow out their hair as a sign of solidarity with those opposing war. Together, these concepts symbolized their dedication to spreading a message of peace and love during a tumultuous time in history.
